After many, long, consecutive days of winegrunting (Yes, we have now made this a verb), last night we got to kick back a little with local friends in the insanely beautiful Gaspereau Valley for TNT, Tuesday Night Tastings, at the gorgeously pastoral location of the soon-to-open (-and-we-can’t-wait-for-it!) Lightfoot & Wolfville Vineyards in Grand Pré.
As card-carrying members of the Slow Food movement, we applaud this estate joining the ranks of 100% certified organic wineries in the area. The theme last night was “Sparkling Wine” and, from sekt, frizzante, to methode champenoise, we were treated to some outstanding examples of this excellent effervescent. This is how we like to roll …
